My child has never cheered before. Can they join?
Absolutely! Many athletes start with no prior experience. We offer beginner-friendly classes, prep teams, and evaluations to help place each athlete in the best program for their age and skill level.
What age can my child start?
We offer programs beginning as young as age 3 and continue through high school and beyond.
What's the difference between All-Star, Prep, and Recreational Cheer?
Recreational: learn fundamentals with minimal commitment. Prep: competitive cheer with a reduced schedule and lower cost. All-Star: full competitive teams with practices, performances, and competitions throughout the season.
Does my child need to know how to tumble?
No. We develop athletes at all levels and offer tumbling classes to help them progress. Many of our tumbling athletes are gymnasts, dancers, or simply kids who love learning new skills.
Does my child have to be a cheerleader to take tumbling classes?
Not at all! Many of our tumbling athletes are gymnasts, dancers, or simply kids who love learning new skills. Tumbling is open to everyone — it's a great structured alternative to gymnastics.
How long does it take to learn a back handspring?
Every athlete progresses differently. Consistent attendance, strength, flexibility, and proper technique all play a role — and we never rush a skill before an athlete is ready.
How are athletes placed on teams?
Athletes attend evaluations where coaches assess tumbling, jumps, stunting, flexibility, performance, and overall readiness. Placement is based on what is best for both the athlete and the team.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. We offer structured payment options to help families budget throughout the season, plus a booster program and multiple fundraising opportunities to help offset costs.
Are there hidden fees?
No. We strive to communicate all anticipated expenses up front so families can make informed decisions before registration.
How do you prioritize safety?
Safety is our top priority. Coaches utilize proper progressions, spotting techniques, certified training, and skill-readiness standards. We never rush athletes into skills before they are ready.
What if my child is afraid of a skill?
Our coaches focus on proper progressions, confidence building, and athlete safety. Many athletes feel nervous at first, and we work hard to create a welcoming environment where every athlete feels included and supported.
Can I try a class before joining?
Yes — new families are often eligible for a trial class so they can experience the Elite atmosphere firsthand. Your first class is free.
